united methodist children's homes

BRINGING HOPE, ONE CHILD AT A TIME.
For over 147 years, we have served children who are hurting.  They came from lives they didn't choose - abandonment, neglect, and abuse.  They are healed and find hope because of support from those who care.

united methodist mountain mission

The United Methodist Mountain Mission has been serving the people of eastern Kentucky since 1943.  We have 8 opportunity stores in Kentucky that are located in Barbourville, Irvine, Harlan, Hazard, Jackson, Pineville, West Liberty, and Burkesville.  We have trucks that travel to churches in Ohio, Tennessee, Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania and throughout Kentucky to pick up donated items.  With the help of our supporters we are able to provide gently used clothing and household items at a reasonable price.

kentucky refugee ministries

We are an outreach community that advocates for and provides resettlement services to refugees to encourage hope and an increased sense of belonging and inclusion to our future American citizens.

united methodist

committee on relief

As the humanitarian relief and development arm of The United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Committee on Relief assists United Methodists and churches to become involved globally in direct ministry to persons in need. UMCOR works with vulnerable communities to strengthen self-sufficiency and encourage partnerships. UMCOR responds to U.S. and international disasters, addresses diseases of poverty, ministers to refugees and immigrants, provides clean water and actively works to reduce hunger.
